What city were you born in? Cambridge, MA
What do you do when you’re not training at Athletic Lab (occupation, hobbies, etc)? I work as a project manager in the Pharma industry, which means I’m sitting down/stressed out a lot. That’s why gym time is so important to me. If I’m not training at AL, you can find me on a walk, boxing (I’ve boxed for over 12 years now), binging a tv series or finding a new restaurant with friends.
What’s your favorite exercise? Least favorite? My favorite lifts are Snatches and Split Jerks. I’m not a fan of Cleans, but most of all, I hate running for distance. Give me sprints all day!
What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishment since you started training? One of my biggest accomplishments is getting over my fear of snatches. Even though I don’t lift super heavy, they are fun now!
What motivates you in your training? My elevated A1C and high cholesterol :) I grew up playing sports, so working out feels natural and not a chore to me. I genuinely love being able to move and push myself.
