The Athletic Lab Track & Field Club recently sent 4 athletes to the USA Track & Field Indoor National Championships. All 4 athletes competed in the indoor heptathlon. The 2022 National Championships represents the 8th time the club has qualified multiple athletes to compete. It is the 6th time, the club has had multiple athletes compete in the heptathlon. The heptathlon is a two day, 7 event men’s indoor track and field event. On Day 1, athletes contest the 60m, long jump, shot put and high jump. On Day 2, athletes contest the 60m high hurdles, pole vault and 1,000m.
The team placed 3rd, 4th, 8th and 9th. Team members Jack Flood and Dylan Cooper battled for top position and both finished with personal bests in the event. They were followed bu Will Eggers and Joe Sheryak. Eggers also finished with a lifetime best.
The Athletic Lab Track Club is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Track & Field club for elite & emerging elite athletes. The goal of the club is to help athletes reach their potential and make World Championship and Olympic Games.
