Athletic Lab just completed our 4th annual Summer Soccer University Prep program and the results were fantastic. The program is designed for committed rising university freshman and university players to prepare for the upcoming college pre-season. We use athletic development best practices to make the athletes stronger, faster, and fitter while incorporating soccer specific elements in to the training. Our 3 person soccer coaching staff of John Grace, Stephanie Funderburk, and Mike Young have extensive soccer fitness coaching experience at the Club, NCAA Division 1, NASL, and MLS levels. We use evidence-based, field proven training methods along with the latest in sports science technology (team heart rate monitoring system, kBox kMeter, etc) and player readiness monitoring protocols typically reserved for professionals to provide the best possible training environment for our athletes.

All of the athletes have reported to camp and taken their pre-season fitness tests and all were among the best or the best on their respective teams. Here’s what some of them had to say….
We had only one fitness test of ten 100 yard sprints in 15 seconds then 45 second jog back to the line. I completed the test on the first attempt, which I can owe to all of you guys! Thank you, and everyone else at Athletic Lab, for everything you all have done. The training there was tough but definitely worth it! Thanks again.
