Name: Karl Hamlin

What city were you born in? Raleigh, NC

What do you do when you’re not training at Athletic Lab (occupation, hobbies, etc)?  I work finance for a global tech company, primarily focused on product management and R&D.  If I’m not in the office or at Athletic Lab, you can probably find me on the golf course, traveling, or both!

What’s your favorite exercise? Least favorite? Power snatches are my favorite by far.  I don’t love deadlifts or RDLs.

What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishment since you started training?  Qualifying for and competing in the USA Weightlifting American Open Finals.  This was the goal I set with Coach Jarrod when I first started with the team.  Achieving that goal after lots of hard work will always be special to me.

What motivates you in your training? The team environment at Athletic Lab keeps me motivated.  We have a great group that always pushes and encourages each other.
