Last weekend, Athletic Lab’s Dr. Mike Young presented at two prestigious clinics in Toronto, Canada. On Saturday, Young gave two presentations at the Hill Performance Coaching Summit at the Hill Academy in Vaughan, Ontario. His first lecture was titled “Improving Speed: Mechanical & Physical Considerations.” His second presentation was a velocity based training workshop sponsored by PUSH training. On Sunday, Young presented for the Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences (RCCSS) Train Smarter Summit. The RCCSS is the largest sport science group in Canada and put on an annual summit for coaches, therapists, chiropractors and other fitness and wellness professionals. Each year the theme of the summit changes. In 2013, Young presented at the group’s Run Faster Summit and returned this year for the Train Smarter summit to give a lecture titled “Pursuit of Excellence: Developing a High Performance Model for Success.”
