Athletic Lab’s Dr. Mike Young was one of 14 high performance practitioners selected to speak at the US Olympic Committee’s High Performance Strength & Conditioning Symposium. The 3 day symposium was held in Colorado Springs, CO at the Olympic Training Center. Nearly 90 coaches, sports scientists and high performance directors from around the world were hand selected to attend this exclusive event. Representatives from the NBA, MLB, NFL NHL, NASCAR and national teams from Australia, Canada, England, Wales, Ireland and more were present. The topic of Young’s talk was “Using Subjective & Objective Criteria to Monitor, Measure & Adapt The Training Stimulus in the MLS.”
Young will next speak at an Athletic Lab hosted event on June 3-4. The 2nd Annual High Performance Athletic Development Conference will feature speakers from 3 countries including Dr. Mike Stone, Dr. Brad DeWeese, Dr. Matt Jordan and Dr. Young.
