Each month we highlight one or more of our members in our member of the month feature. For the month of May we’ve selected Jason and Nancy Shamaly as our Members of the Month. Jason and Nancy are some of our longest standing members and a model of commitment and consistency.

What city were you born in? Boston, Massachusetts
What do you do when you’re not training at Athletic Lab (occupation, hobbies, etc)? I’ve been with Fidelity Investments going on 25 years as an Engineer. When not working, I enjoy playing flag football, running and traveling.
What’s your favorite exercise? Least favorite? Favorite exercise is burpees; least favorite is a tie between the bike and the row
What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishment since you started training? Getting back to working out during and after recovering from an Achilles rupture
What motivates you in your training? Desire to stay healthy and of course, the coaches of AL
What city were you born in? Malden, Massachusetts
What do you do when you’re not training at Athletic Lab (occupation, hobbies, etc)? I have worked as an Operations Coordinator for the last 8 years for a Telecom REIT company. When not working, my husband and I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Enjoying time with family and our 3 dogs.
What’s your favorite exercise? Least favorite? Favorite exercise is med ball slams; least favorite burpees
What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishment since you started training? Remaining consistent with training during the Covid pandemic. Thankful that AL found a safe way to operate while other gyms closed.
