In the last month, Athletic Lab athlete Patrick Kypson has excelled on the court. The nationally ranked tennis Junior recently won a National Championship at the US Tennis Association (USTA) National Championships in the Boys 16 age division by defeating 4th ranked Alexandre Rotsaert in Del Ray Beach, FL. This month, Kypson was one of only 4 athletes to qualify for the US Open Junior Championships played in Flushing Meadows, NY. In the first round, Kypson defeated Geoffrey Blancaneaux of France (7-6, 6-4) but was forced to retire in the second round due to an injury. Kypson is currently the third ranked Junior tennis player in the US.
