Athletic Lab’s Scholastic Sports Performance Program

Our scholastic program offers a structured and progressive training experience designed to enhance a high school athlete’s strength, speed, power, and conditioning. The program aims to help athletes maximize their potential and prepare them for the demands of high school sports and beyond. Annual Plan We provide year-round training for high school-aged athletes, following best-practice coaching methods to ensure safe and effective performance gains. The annual plan is divided into 13 four-week training cycles, known as a Macrocycle in coaching and sports science. This structure strikes the ideal balance between consistency for ongoing adaptation and variety to prevent overtraining, staleness, and boredom. Training Cycles Each annual plan consists of 13 four-week training cycles, referred to as Mesocycles by sports scientists. Every cycle follows a progressive and cyclical approach, allowing for continual improvement. Weekly Structure Each four-week cycle contains four training weeks. Within each week, athletes participate in three distinct session plans, offered over a six-day period: Session Plan 1: Monday and Tuesday Session Plan 2: Wednesday and Thursday Session Plan 3: Friday and Saturday Session Format Each 60-minute session follows a consistent structure: Dynamic Warmup: Reduces injury risk and prepares the athlete for training. Daily Assessment: Utilizes advanced sports science technology—typically seen only in professional sports—to assess jumping, throwing, or hamstring strength, depending on the day. This data helps monitor each athlete’s physical status over time. Movement Drills: Includes sprint drills or hurdle mobility exercises to improve movement efficiency and mobility. Speed & Power Training: Focuses on speed, change of direction, and/or plyometrics to develop explosive athleticism. Strength & Power: The second half of the session is dedicated to strength and power training in the weight room. Athletes receive coaching on proper technique and use industry-leading equipment and technology. Conditioning: Each session concludes with a brief but intense [...]

2022 Membership Adjustments

Effective Saturday, January 1st, 2022, the following Athletic Lab membership options will move to updated pricing schedules for all NEW memberships. All individuals with a monthly membership that started prior to January 1st, 2022 will receive 'grandfathered' pricing at their current membership rates as long as they maintain an active membership. If a membership lapses and the member decides to return at a later time, the 'grandfathered' pricing will no longer apply. Once current punch card memberships have been used in full, any members wishing to purchase a new punch card on or after January 1st, 2022, must do so at our new rates. We realize price increases are never fun, but in our continued effort to provide the best possible training experience with the best coaches, and most well maintained and equipped facility, the price increase is necessary. The costs of doing business have increased substantially in the past year. After examining both the local and national market, we are confident that our new pricing is not only fair, but remains an extreme value versus our competitors. In fact, our prices remain considerably below the local average for similar fitness programs despite Athletic Lab boasting the largest and most well equipped facility and most experienced and credentialed staff. Performance Fitness Unlimited (1 Month): $193.95 (previously $188.95) Performance Fitness Unlimited (3 Month): $179.95 (previously $174.95) Performance Fitness Unlimited (6 Month): $168.95 (previously $164.95) Performance Fitness Unlimited (1 Year): $158.95 (previously $154.95) Performance Fitness 3x / Week (1 Month): $174.95 (previously $170.95) Performance Fitness 3x / Week (3 Month): $162.95 (previously $158.95) Performance Fitness 3x / Week (6 Month): $152.95 (previously $149.95) Performance Fitness 3x / Week (1 Year): $143.95 (previously $140.95) Performance Fitness [...]
