Endurance Team Wins Back to Back Ninja Challenge Titles

Our Performance Fitness Endurance Team took to this year's Ninja Challenge 5km course. This year's course had 15 grueling obstacles and the team finished with 3 top twenty finishers in the male and female categories and took home the team title for the second straight year. Endurance Team Head Coach Stephanie Shaw finished 3rd overall (30:19) and Nina Fricker placed 13th overall (36:27) in the female category. The men's side was lead by Tristan York who placed 9th in the men's division (27:08). The Ninja Challenge is a 5k obstacle race that tests the "Ninja" fitness of competitors by running up walls, climbing over walls, and jumping over water. The Ninja Challenge goes beyond a simple race to test athleticism and endurance over 15 challenging obstacles.

Stephanie Shaw finishes 4th at Ninja Challenge

Athletic Lab coach Stephanie Shaw took part in the 5k Ninja Challenge. Along with the Athletic Lab race team finishing 11th out of 50 teams overall, Stephanie finished 4th out of 672 female runners with a time of 33:07. Be sure to congratulate Stephanie and the entire Athletic Lab race team.

Athletic Lab Race Team with great finish at Ninja Challenge

Only a few weeks after a top finish at the Raleigh Fitathlon, the Athletic Lab race team was back at it. This past weekend they took to the 5k Ninja Challenge. Our team finished 11th out of 50 teams. The team placing was determined by the top five individual finishing times. Athletic Lab finished with a combined time of 3:56:01. Excellent work to everyone on the race team.
