Mike Young presents at Child to Champion USA Virtual Conference

Athletic Lab's Dr. Mike Young recently provided two lectures on speed development at the Child to Champion US virtual conference. The conference was held in partnership with Proformance Strength & Conditioning. The international conference has taken place in the UK for several years and was originally slated to take place in the US for the first time in mid March at Athletic Lab. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 mandated closure cancelled the on-site plans and the conference was rescheduled as a virtual conference. Young delivered on "Linear Speed Development" and "Developing Game Speed." The 2 day event featured speakers from around the world including Lee Taft, Boo Schexnayder, Joe Eisenmann, and James Baker. Athletic Lab's former coach, Matt Hunter (currently with the Toronto Blue Jays) also presented. If you are interested in having Dr. Young and any other Athletic Lab staff lecture or provide a private workshop for your organization please contact us for details.
